Ingredients

2 dozen egg roll wraps
3 tablespoons oil ( plus 3 more if needed )
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup hoisin sauce
2 lbs pork steak , trimmed and deboned , cut in 1/8 inch slices
4 green onions , cleaned and sliced thin
1/2 inch fresh ginger , peeled and minced
2 garlic cloves , peeled and minced
1 bag frozen stir fry vegetables
oil , for deep frying
1/2 cup cold water ( to seal wrappers )
Egg rolls are a classic appetizer or snack, and this recipe by Qdm is a great way to use up any leftover vegetables you have in the fridge or freezer. Traditionally served with a dipping sauce, these egg rolls are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. Instructions

1.In a small bowl whisk cornstarch and cold water, sit aside.
2.Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a wok or large frying pan, add ginger and garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
3.Add pork slices and stir-fry until all the pink is gone from the meat.
4.Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and frozen vegetables and continue to stir fry for another 5 minutes.
5.Remove from the stove and place mixture into a large bowl.
6.Add green onions and stir everything together well.
7.Open up egg roll wrap packages and place on a large flat surface.
8.Spoon mixture onto the egg roll wrapper, fold the corners up and over the mixture.
9.Roll up the egg roll squeezing gently to make a tight roll.
10.Using a basting brush, brush some cold water over egg roll wrapper along the top edge and fold over egg roll, gently pressing to make sure wraps stick together.
11.Once all the egg rolls are rolled up and sealed, heat sufficient oil (enough to cover egg rolls well) in a deep fry pan.
12.When the oil is hot, place egg rolls a few at a time into a pan, fry until golden brown, and place the egg rolls on paper towels to drain.
13.Serve your Qdm's Whatever Ya' Got Egg Rolls.
