Instructions

1.Add all ingredients except for beaten egg and 2 tablespoons milk in bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
2.Select dough cycle.
3.After dough has finished, turn it out onto a floured surface and knead briefly.
4.Let dough rest for 5 minutes, then divide into thirds.
5.Roll each piece of dough into a 10-inch long rope and braid the ropes together.
6.Place the braided dough on a greased baking sheet and let it rise for about 45 minutes.
7.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
8.Brush beaten egg and milk over the risen dough.
9.Bake for about 25 minutes until the bread is golden brown.
10.Cool on a wire rack before serving.
