Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.In a blender, add the sweetened condensed milk, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, and orange zest.
3.Blend until smooth.
4.In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat. Once melted, swirl the pan to ensure that the sugar caramelizes evenly.
5.Pour the sugar caramel into a 9-inch (23-cm) round cake pan and ensure that the bottom is entirely coated. Let the caramel cool for a few minutes.
6.Pour the blended mixture into the cake pan.
7.Place the cake pan in a larger baking dish and fill the larger dish with boiling water until it reaches halfway up the cake pan.
8.Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
9.Let the flan cool at room temperature, then transfer it to the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
