Ingredients

4 cups fresh basil leaves ( If you 're not going to use fresh basil , do n't bother . )
1/2 cup olive oil
3 garlic cloves
6 sprigs parsley
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 cup parmesan cheese , grated
1/4 cup romano cheese , grated
salt and pepper , to taste

Instructions

1.Rinse and dry basil leaves.
2.Peel and chop garlic.
3.Grate parmesan and romano cheese.
4.In a food processor, add basil, garlic, pine nuts and process to a fine puree.
5.Gradually add the cheese.
6.Slowly add olive oil to form a smooth paste.
7.Add salt and pepper to taste and pulse to combine.
