6 spring onions
1 red pepper , cut into small strips
2 garlic cloves
1 egg , beaten
150 g rice
soy sauce
Chinese five spice powder , shaker
60 g frozen peas

Instructions

1.Rinse 150g of rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Add the rice into boiling water and simmer until cooked. Drain and set aside to cool.
2.Fry 180g of prawns and 50g of chopped chorizo sausage in a large pan with some oil until they start to turn golden. Remove the prawns and chorizo from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
3.Fry 6 chopped spring onions, 2 chopped garlic cloves, and 1 sliced red pepper in the same pan for about 5 minutes until the vegetables softens.
4.Add in 60g of frozen peas, cooked rice, and 1 beaten egg to the pan. Mix well.
5.Add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, a sprinkle of Chinese five spice powder, and the cooked prawns and chorizo. Stir until everything is heated through.
6.Serve the Prawn and Chorizo Fried Rice in bowls and garnish with a slice of lime, if desired.
