water to cover
1 head garlic , cloves peeled

2/3 pound pork shoulder , coarsely chopped

Instructions

8.Simmer the stew until the meat is cooked through and tender, about 2 hours.
9.Season with more salt if needed.
10.Serve in individual bowls and top with shredded lettuce, diced onion, and lime wedges on the side.
