1 cup white sugar
1 cup margarine
4 eggs
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup dried currants
1 pinch ground nutmeg

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.Grease 24 mini-muffin cups.
3.Beat white sugar and margarine together in a bowl until fluffy.
4.Beat eggs in one at a time, followed by sherry.
5.Stir flour and nutmeg together in a separate bowl; fold into the sugar mixture.
6.Fold in currants.
7.Spoon batter into the prepared muffin cups.
8.Bake in the preheated oven until cakes are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.
