Ingredients

1/2 cup Splenda granular
8 tablespoons margarine
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
4 plums
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Polish Plum Torte, or Szarlotka z powidłami, in Polish, is a classic dessert that is popular across Poland and Europe. It is typically served in Autumn when plums are in season and cooked until they release their sweet, tangy flavor. Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, sugar, and Splenda until light and fluffy.
3.In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder before adding them to the large bowl.
4.Mix in the eggs, one at a time, to the mix.
5.Pour the batter into an ungreased 9-inch baking dish.
6.Halve and pit the plums before placing them skin side up into the batter in the dish.
7.In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and remaining tablespoon of sugar.
8.Sprinkle this mixture over the whole dish evenly.
9.Bake your Polish Plum Torte for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
