Instructions

2.Chop the potatoes, carrots, onion and celery in small pieces. In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the vegetables and cook for about 5 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
3.Cut the smoked sausage in small pieces and add to the skillet with the vegetables. Cook for about 5 minutes until sausage is heated through.
4.Add chicken broth, thyme, salt and pepper to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
5.Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes, until cabbage is wilted and tender. Serve hot.
