Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2.In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3.Add in the vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4.In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the applesauce, mixing well after each addition.
6.Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
