3 cups besan
1 cup rice
2 tablespoons butter
1 pinch asafoetida powder ( hing )

Instructions

1.Soak the rice in water for at least 30 minutes.
2.Drain the water and grind the rice to a fine powder.
3.In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, besan, and salt.
4.Add the asafoetida powder and butter to the bowl. Mix well.
5.Gradually add water to the bowl while mixing the ingredients together to form a smooth, pliable dough.
6.Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat.
7.Using a sev machine, press out the dough in a ribbon shape directly into the hot oil.
8.Fry until the pakoda has turned golden, about 2-3 minutes.
9.Remove the pakodas from the hot oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towel to soak up excess oil.
