3 lbs potatoes
5 cups flour

2 eggs , beaten
1 pinch salt
4 tablespoons melted butter
2 lbs plums
sugar cube
3/4 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

1.Boil the potatoes until soft and mash them in a large bowl.
2.Allow the potatoes to cool, then add flour, sugar, beaten eggs, salt and melted butter. Knead the mixture into a dough.
3.Roll out the dough on a floured surface to around 1/2 inch thickness.
4.Cut the dough into squares of even size, put a sugar cube and 1 plum in each square, seal the edges and roll them into balls.
5.Boil the dumplings in a large pot of salted water for 20-25 minutes.
6.In a separate pan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter, add breadcrumbs, sugar and cinnamon and fry them until they turn golden brown.
7.Serve the dumplings with the breadcrumb mixture sprinkled on top.
