Pili pili piri piri sauce is a spicy condiment originally from Africa, popular in Portuguese and Brazilian cuisine. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.Place the habanero or jalapeno peppers on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until slightly charred.
3.In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted peppers, chopped onion, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, chopped garlic, ground ginger, salt, dried basil, dried oregano, and dried tarragon.
4.Blend until smooth, adding the additional olive oil if needed to reach desired consistency.
