PROS

Black beans are an excellent source of plant-based protein, fiber, and iron, making this soup filling and satisfying.

Pace Picante Sauce adds a spicy and tangy kick to the soup, enhancing its flavors.

CONS

The bacon and sour cream toppings may add extra calories and fat to this dish, so use them in moderation.

If you are watching your salt intake, you may need to adjust seasoning as canned beans and broth are already salted.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

Black beans are low in saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium, which makes them a heart-healthy option.
They are also rich in antioxidants, folate, and magnesium that support overall health and may help manage blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
