Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a 9-inch (23 cm) cake pan with parchment paper.

6.Sprinkle rose water and sugar on top of the apples and pop raisins into crevices.
7.Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
8.Meanwhile, mix water and cornstarch together in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
9.Drizzle the cornstarch mixture over the baked cake.
10.Once the cake has cooled completely, frost it with chocolate frosting if desired.
