Ingredients

1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon powdered saffron
1/2 cup rose water
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oil

Instructions

4.In 15-minute intervals, alternate adding the first two pans to the last pan mixture from step 3.
5.Add pistachios and almonds, and stir for a few seconds before pouring the mixture into a serving dish and sprinkling with some more pistachios and almonds.
6.Allow to cool and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
