Ingredients

400 g beef tenderloin steaks
100 g butter
2 tablespoons sambal oelek chili paste ( I used sambal oelek , but it depends on your personal preference )
This Perfect Tenderloin Steak - Bali Style is a dish inspired by the flavors of Bali, Indonesia. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and place a cast-iron skillet in the oven.
2.Season 2 beef tenderloin steaks with salt and pepper.
3.Once the pan is heated, place the steaks on the skillet and sear each side for 2-3 minutes until browned.
4.Melt 100g of butter in a small pan over medium heat.
5.Add 2 tablespoons of sambal oelek chili paste and mix together.
6.Pour the chili butter mixture over the steaks and baste with a spoon.
7.Place the skillet in the oven and roast for 8-12 minutes until desired doneness is achieved.
8.Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
