1 1/2 cups water , plus
4 tablespoons water

Instructions

1.Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer under cold water until water runs clear.
2.Place rice and measured water in a medium sauce pan with a tight fitting lid. Let stand for 30 minutes.
3.Bring to a boil, uncovered and stir once or twice to prevent sticking.
4.Once boiling, cover and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 15 minutes.
5.Remove from the heat and leave the pan covered to steam for another 15 minutes.
6.Fluff rice with a fork before serving.
