4 lbs country-style spareribs
6 cups chicken stock or 6 cups water
3 jars sauerkraut
6 Polish sausage
1 large white onion
2 granny smith apples
1 teaspoon caraway seed
6 -8 juniper berries
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 325°F.

5.Add the chicken stock, sauerkraut, sliced onion, sliced apples, caraway seeds, juniper berries, and ground pepper to the pot.
6.Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 2-3 hours until the ribs are tender.
