Instructions

1.In a medium saucepan, combine yellow rock sugar and mirin.

4.Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
5.In a small bowl, combine mirin, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and minced garlic.
6.Pour mixture into the saucepan with the soy sauce mixture.
7.Simmer over low heat for another 5 minutes.
8.Remove from heat and let sauce cool completely before serving. Serve with Yakitori chicken skewers.
