3/4 cup sweet rice ( glutinous rice )
1 lb ground pork
2 green onions , chopped
1 egg white
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sherry wine
2 tablespoons Bisquick baking mix or 2 tablespoons cornstarch
5 water chestnuts , chopped

Instructions

1.Rinse the sweet rice with cold water and drain it. Soak the rice with 2 cups of water for at least 2 hours.
2.Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a mixing bowl, add in the ground pork, green onions, egg white, soy sauce, salt, sherry wine, Bisquick baking mix or cornstarch, and chopped water chestnuts into the bowl and mix well.
3.Drain the water from the soaked sweet rice and mix it into the pork mixture until well combined.
4.Roll the mixture into 1 to 1.5 inch meatballs, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5.Bake for 18-20 minutes or until fully cooked, flipping them halfway through cooking for even browning.
