Ingredients

1 cup roasted peanuts
1 cup roasted channa dal ( Bengal gram , roasted split chickpeas )
6 medium potatoes , boiled and mashed
2 medium sized onions , chopped
4 green chilies , chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 cup chopped spinach leaves
finely chopped coriander leaves
oil ( for frying )
salt
Peanut Tikki is a popular snack in North India made with peanuts, mashed potatoes and spices. It is an easy and quick recipe that makes for an excellent snack option anytime. It can be served with coriander chutney, sweet tamarind chutney or ketchup. Instructions

1.In a food processor, grind roasted peanuts and roasted channa dal to a coarse powder.
2.In a mixing bowl, add the powder, boiled and mashed potatoes, chopped onions, chopped green chilies, lemon juice, chopped spinach leaves, salt, and coriander leaves. Mix well.
3.Take small portions of the mixture and make small round patties.
4.Coat patties in breadcrumbs.
5.Heat oil in a shallow pan and fry the patties until they turn golden brown on both sides.
