Ingredients

1 1/2 tablespoons gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup sugar ( either brown or white )
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 egg yolks , beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 cup pawpaw , pureed pulp
3 egg whites
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup heavy cream , whipped
9 inches pastry shells , baked ( a graham cracker crust will work , too )

Instructions

7.Fold in whipped cream and egg white mixture into the cooled custard mixture until just combined.
8.Pour into the baked pastry shells and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
