Ingredients

2 lbs lean ground chuck
1 lb ground sausage ( I use Bob Evans or Jimmy Dean brands )
4 large eggs , beaten
1 tablespoon dried basil
3/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon curry powder ( make sure it 's fairly fresh ! )
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt or 1 1/2 teaspoons table salt
2 1/2 cups breadcrumbs ( I make my own )
1 cup olive oil
60 ounces spaghetti sauce , canned ( I use Hunt 's brand )
15 ounces chicken broth
Meatballs are a classic comfort food that have been around for generations. This recipe is a traditional meatball recipe with a little extra twist. Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, ground sausage, beaten eggs, dried basil, ground red pepper, Italian seasoning, onion powder, dried thyme, ground allspice, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
2.Add the breadcrumbs and mix gently until everything is evenly combined.
3.Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly coat with cooking spray.
4.Shape the meat mixture into medium-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet at least an inch apart from each other.
5.Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil.
6.Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for around 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through with an internal temperature of 160°F.
7.Remove from oven and let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
8.In a saucepan, heat up the spaghetti sauce and chicken broth over medium heat.
9.Arrange the meatballs on a serving plate, ladle the hot tomato sauce over the meatballs before serving.

PROS

These meatballs are easy to make, tasty and perfect for freezing.
