Ingredients

56 ounces spaghetti sauce ( canned )
1 lb lasagna noodle , dry
10 ounces frozen spinach , thawed and chopped
2 cups mozzarella cheese , shredded
15 ounces ricotta cheese ( or , cottage cheese )
1 cup romano cheese , freshly grated
2 cups monterey jack cheese , shredded
2 teaspoons dried sweet basil leaves
6 Italian sausages
1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
1 tablespoon Italian spices ( see directions )
3 fresh garlic cloves , minced
1/2 cup dry red wine

This recipe puts a twist on the traditional by using not one, but four different types of cheese to create a rich, creamy, and indulgent lasagna. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.Cook the Italian sausage and ground chuck in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned.
3.Add garlic and Italian spices to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
4.Add spaghetti sauce and red wine to the skillet and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
5.In a separate bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, romano cheese, and spinach.
6.Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and layer noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce in the dish.
7.Sprinkle mozzarella and monterey jack cheese on top of the mixture, then sprinkle with dried sweet basil leaves.
8.Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
