1 cup plain flour
1 pinch salt

2 cups grated jaggery or 2 cups soft brown sugar
1 tablespoon raisins
1 tablespoon crushed cashews
1 teaspoon green cardamom powder
2 teaspoons ghee
Patoli is a traditional South Indian dessert typically made during festivals or special occasions. This steamed coconut dumpling is easy to make and requires only a few simple ingredients. Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, mix the plain flour and salt together.
2.Gradually add water into the mixture until a smooth batter is formed. Add 2 teaspoons of ghee and mix well.
3.In a separate mixing bowl, mix together the grated coconut, jaggery, raisins, crushed cashews, and green cardamom powder until well combined.
4.Spoon the batter into a greased mould or idli trays. Add a spoonful of the coconut and jaggery filling in the center of each mould.
5.Steam the dumplings in a steamer or idli cooker for 20 minutes.
6.Serve hot with a dollop of ghee on top.
