Instructions

1.In a large bowl, beat lard or vegetable shortening, unsalted butter, and sugar together until light and fluffy.

3.Slowly fold in flour and mix until well combined.
4.Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
5.Take tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into ball shapes. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
6.Bake for about 18 to 20 minutes or until slightly golden in color. Remove from the oven and let cool down on a wire rack.
7.Dust the cookies with confectioners' sugar before serving.
