Ingredients

2 cups self raising flour
seasoning
2 tablespoons parsley , finely chopped
1 tablespoon chives , finely chopped
1/2 onion , finely chopped
2 spring onions , chopped
30 g butter
150 ml milk
milk , for glazing
These Parsley and Chive Scones are the perfect addition to your breakfast repertoire. They're easy to make, flavourful, and a great way to start your day. The dough comes together quickly and is studded with fresh herbs for a truly delicious scone. Serve them warm with some butter or jam for a truly indulgent treat.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 220°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.In a large bowl, mix together the flour and seasoning. Add in the parsley, chives, onion, spring onions, and butter. Mix until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together the milk and a dash of seasoning. Gradually pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a soft dough forms.
4.Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and flatten into a circle about 1 inch thick. Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into 8 wedges.
5.Place the scones on the prepared baking sheet and brush with a little milk.
6.Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
