Panettone French Toast With Apples and Cranberries is an indulgent breakfast or brunch dish that is perfect for holidays and weekend mornings. The dish consists of slices of panettone, a sweet bread enriched with butter and dried fruits typical of Milan, dipped in a decadent egg mixture, sautéed apples and a caramel-like sauce made with brown sugar, butter and dried cranberries or raisins. The apples add a fruity and sour twist to the dish, while the cranberry caramel-like sauce takes it over the top. This recipe serves six people.
