Paneer is made by curdling milk and separating the solid paneer from the liquid whey. As an ingredient, paneer has a fresh, creamy flavor that pairs well with the bold spices used in Indian food. Home-made paneer is a great alternative to the store-bought paneer as it has a fresher flavor and can be used to prepare a variety of Indian dishes. Although it requires more effort and time to make at home, the rewards are endless in terms of taste and health benefits.

6.Gather the cheesecloth and rinse the paneer in running water to wash off any remaining lemon or yogurt.
7.Squeeze out the excess water and form the paneer into a block.
