1 cup panir , cut into 1-inch cubes ( cottage cheese )
1 cup sweet corn , boiled
1/2 cup onion puree
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon stick
2 cloves
1 teaspoon chili powder
4 tomatoes , pureed
1/2 cup curds , beaten
2 tablespoons cream
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoons oil
salt
broken cashews
1 tablespoon poppy seed
2 garlic cloves
1/2 inch piece gingerroot
3 tablespoons warm milk

Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan and saute poppy seeds, garlic, and ginger for a minute.
2.Add cinnamon stick, cloves, and bay leaf and saute again for a minute.
3.Add onion puree and fry until it turns brown.
4.Add chili powder and fry for a minute.
5.Add fresh tomato puree and continue to fry until the oil separates from the mixture.
6.Add beaten curd, sugar, and salt and fry for a minute.
7.Add boiled corn and paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes until the paneer gets soft.
8.Add cream and garam masala and cook for a minute.
9.Garnish with broken cashews and serve hot with rice or naan.
