Ingredients

12 slices bacon , divided
4 cups chicken broth
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 medium onion , chopped

Instructions

1.Cook 9 slices of bacon until crispy in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Remove the bacon from the pan and place it onto a paper towel-lined plate. Once cooled, crumble the bacon and set it aside.
2.Remove all but 2 tablespoons of bacon grease from the pan. To the Dutch oven add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, linguine pasta, and salt. Bring all of the ingredients to a boil, then turn to medium-low and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
3.Add parsley, cubed cream cheese, and grated parmesan cheese to the pot. Stir and cook for an additional 3 minutes until the sauce is smooth.
4.Garnish with halved grape tomatoes and crumbled bacon. Serve hot.
