Ingredients

1/2 tablespoon dry yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 cup warm water
1 1/2 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm milk
4 cups all-purpose flour ( sifted )
1 egg ( beaten with a few pinches of sugar )
1/4 cup white sesame seeds

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water.
2.Add the oil, salt and warm milk and mix.
3.Gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough until it comes together.
4.Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
5.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
6.Cut the dough into small portions and shape into rings.
7.Dip each ring into the beaten egg mixture, then into the sesame seeds and place on a lined baking sheet.
8.Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
