Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°.
2.Arrange tomatoes cut sides up, in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
3.Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt; bake at 375° for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until very tender and beginning to brown.
4.Preheat broiler to high.
5.Brush both sides of bread slices with oil; broil 1 minute on each side or until lightly toasted.
6.Rub garlic halves over one side of each bread slice; top evenly with cheese. Broil 1 minute or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly. Top with tomatoes and basil.
