2 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1 3/4 lbs unbleached white bread flour

Instructions

1.Dissolve yeast in hand warm water.
2.Mix flour and salt.
3.Add liquid to flour mixture until a dough forms.

5.Preheat oven to 450°F / 230°C.
6.Meanwhile, place the crock in the oven for 30 minutes.
7.Remove the crock from oven and pour the dough into the crock. Put the lid on.
8.Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then 15 to 30 minutes without the lid.
9.Remove from the oven and transfer the bread to a cooling rack.
10.Let it cool before slicing.
