Ingredients

150 g shredded phyllo dough ( Othmaliye dough or Kunafa dough )
4 tablespoons ghee , melted
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons fine semolina
170 g Nestle cream
1 tablespoon rose water
1/2 cup pistachios , crushed
1 cup sugar syrup

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C/355°F.

5.Place half of the ghee and phyllo dough mixture in the prepared dish.
6.Pour the milk and cream mixture over the phyllo dough.
7.Add the remaining phyllo dough mixture over the milk and cream mixture.
8.Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
9.Remove from the oven and pour the sugar syrup over the pastry.
10.Sprinkle the crushed pistachios over the top and let it cool before serving.
