1 egg , beaten
3 ounces self raising flour
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
7 ounces milk

Instructions

1.Mix oatmeal, sour cream, golden syrup, and beaten egg in a large bowl.
2.In a separate bowl, mix self raising flour, salt, and baking soda.
3.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Stir until well combined.
4.Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
5.Scoop small ladles of the batter into the pan (about 3 inches in diameter).
6.Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Serve hot with your favorite topping.
