2 eggs
1/4 cup milk

5 tablespoons butter , softened
6 pieces thinly sliced white bread
4 thin slices cooked turkey
4 thin slices cooked ham
4 thin slices swiss cheese
confectioners ' sugar , for dusting
red currant jelly , for dipping

Instructions

1.In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
2.On each of three slices of bread, place one slice of turkey, ham and Swiss cheese. Cover with the remaining three slices of bread to form sandwiches.
3.Cut each sandwich into 4 triangles.
4.In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
5.Dip each triangle into the egg mixture, coating well, and place in the skillet.
6.Cook the triangles until golden brown on each side, about 2 minutes per side.
7.Repeat with remaining triangles, adding more butter as necessary.
8.Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve with red currant jelly for dipping.
