Ingredients

2 cups orecchiette
1 lb broccoli rabe ( Rappinni Broccoli )
3 garlic cloves
5 slices anchovies
cherry tomatoes ( optional )
hot chili pepper flakes

Instructions

1.Cook orecchiette pasta until al dente, following the instructions on the package. Drain and keep aside.
2.Rinse the broccoli rabe and pat dry. Cut broccoli rabe in half and discard lower stems. Cut remaining stems and leaves into bite-sized pieces.
3.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
4.Add anchovies and cook until dissolved in the oil. Add red pepper flakes as well
5.Add broccoli rabe and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.
6.Add cooked orecchiette pasta and toss everything together. Add cherry tomatoes if you prefer.
