5 cups whole milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cardamom
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons rose water ( optional )
1 pinch saffron thread

Instructions

1.In a pot, add milk, sugar, ground cardamom, saffron thread, and farina.

3.Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is very thick and pulls away from the sides of the pot.
4.Remove from heat and stir in butter and rose water.
