1 cup milk
2 cups barley flour
2 tablespoons butter , melted
1 tablespoon sugar ( I leave it out ) ( optional )
2 teaspoons baking powder ( It 's too chewy for my taste if baking powder is n't used ) ( optional )
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, combine barley flour, baking powder and salt.
2.In a separate bowl, warm up milk and mix in melted butter.
3.Using a wooden spoon or mixer, add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until a thick dough is formed.
4.Cover the bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes.
5.Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
6.Divide the dough into 8 equal parts, use your hands and shape into circles.
7.Place the circles onto the prepared baking sheet.
8.Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are slightly brown.
