Ingredients

1 tablespoon water

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F.

4.Spread the apricot preserves over the bottom of one of the pie crusts. Spoon the cooked filling over the preserves. Arrange the apples on top. Cover with the remaining pie crust, crimping the edges to seal. Brush the top crust with the egg yolk mixed with water.
5.Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
