Nutella Scrolls are a popular pastry in many countries, often enjoyed as a breakfast or dessert treat. These scrolls are made from a soft and fluffy dough, filled with Nutella, and sprinkled with hazelnuts and sultanas for a crunchy texture. They are easy and quick to make, perfect for lazy mornings or special occasions with family and friends. These scrolls can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature, with a cup of coffee or tea.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2.Sift flour into a large bowl. Using your fingertips, rub butter into flour until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add milk. Using a knife, stir until mixture forms a soft dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Knead gently until smooth.
3.Roll dough out to 30cm x 40cm rectangle. Spread Nutella over dough. Sprinkle with hazelnuts and sultanas, leaving a 2cm border along 1 long edge. Roll up dough firmly to enclose filling. Cut into 12 x 3cm-thick slices. Place, cut-side up, on prepared tray.
4.Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until scrolls are risen and golden. Serve warm or at room temperature.
