5 tablespoons rum or 5 tablespoons water

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the honey, egg, lemon juice, brown sugar and grated lemon rind until well combined.

3.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition.

6.Shape the dough into small sausages, spacing them 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
7.Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the sausages are golden brown.
8.Let the sausages cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
9.In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and rum (or water) to create a glaze.
10.Brush the glaze over the cooled sausages and let it set before serving.
