Ingredients

1/2 kg beef

1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
4 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons flour

1/2 teaspoon whole black peppercorn
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
2 small cardamom pods , seeds of
10 cloves
2 whole black cardamom pods
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
Nihari is a traditional Pakistani stew that is often eaten for breakfast. Its origins can be traced back to the Mughal era, and it has since become a staple in Pakistani cuisine. Instructions

1.In a large pot, bring the beef, salt, pepper, turmeric powder, and coriander powder to a boil with enough water to cover the beef.
2.Reduce heat to low and let the beef simmer for 2-3 hours or until tender.
3.In a separate pan, heat the oil and fry the flour until it turns a light brown color.
4.Add the ginger paste and spices (fennel seeds, whole black peppercorn, cumin seed, cardamom pods, cloves, black cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, nutmeg, and coriander seeds) and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5.Add this mixture to the pot with the beef and mix well.
6.Let the pot simmer for an additional 30-45 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
