Instructions

.In a large bowl, combine the teriyaki marinade, soy sauce, white vinegar or rice wine vinegar, sugar, fish sauce, sweet chili sauce, and sweet and spicy pepper sauce. Whisk well to combine.
.Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and use a fork or tongs to coat them well in the marinade.
.Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
.When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease the foil with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
.Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle baking soda over the chicken to help tenderize the meat.
.Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.
.While the chicken is cooking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Whisk in cornstarch and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
.Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Brush the thickened marinade onto the chicken.
.Serve hot with your favorite sides.
