Ingredients

1 kg diced beef
1 large onion ( diced )
1/4 red capsicum ( diced )
1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce ( fountain if poss )
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
4 medium potatoes ( peeled and cut into quarters )
1 1/4 cups cornflour , for thickening
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
milk
salt
2 beef bouillon cubes

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2.In a large pot, brown the diced beef with onion and capsicum.
3.Add tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, beef bouillon cubes and enough water to cover the ingredients.
4.Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
5.Add mixed vegetables and potatoes and let it simmer for 1 hour.
6.Mix self raising flour, cornflour, milk and salt to make dumplings.
7.Drop spoonfulls of the dumpling mixture on top of the stew and let it cook for 20 minutes covered.
8.Remove the cover and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
