2 cups butter , cool room temp | |
1 cup fruit powdered sugar | |
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour | |
1/2 cup rice flour | |
glace cherries ( optional ) |
1. | Preheat oven to 325F. |
2. | Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. |
3. | Sift flour and rice flour over mixture and mix gently until dough forms. |
4. | On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/2 inch thickness. |
5. | Cut into desired shape and place on a baking sheet. |
6. | Place glace cherries on top (optional). |
7. | Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. |
8. | Allow to cool before serving. |
