5 lbs tart apples , peeled and cored
2 packages raisins , seeded
1 package currants
1 pint molasses
1 pint cider or 1 pint apple juice
2 lbs brown sugar
1/4 lb citron
2 teaspoons cloves
4 teaspoons cinnamon
3 teaspoons mace
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 lemons , rind and juice

Instructions
