1 cup beaten egg
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
salt
pepper
1 -2 tablespoon cooking oil or 1 -2 tablespoon dripping

My Mum's Yorkshire Pudding is a simple and easy recipe which has been passed down through generations in my family. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
2.Place oil or dripping in a 9x13 inch baking dish and heat in the oven for 5 minutes.
3.While the oil is heating, beat the eggs in a large bowl.
4.Gradually mix in the flour, milk, water, salt and pepper to form a smooth batter.
5.Once the oil is heated, pour the batter into the hot baking dish.
6.Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pudding is golden brown and cooked through.
